We stayed at the Farmstead this past weekend and I have never stayed in an accommodation where the little details have been so carefully added. From the farm shop goodies left when you enter, to the soft radio playing and twinkly Xmas tree lights it was the cosiest welcome. You have everything you could possibly need and we felt very little need to leave our lodge other than to explore the gorgeous countryside surrounding it. We will absolutely be back as this has become such a special place to us as it was even where my partner proposed.

This was our 2nd visit and it was absolutely lovely. Our lodge was so cosy and welcoming and the Christmas tree and goodies was a really nice touch. It’s incredibly peaceful there and we slept so well. We made full use of the wood burner this time and wanted to bring the bed and bed linen home with us! We brought our dog and he loved it too!

We had a wonderful 2 nights away. A beautiful place to stay. Peaceful, dog friendly, luxurious and relaxing. A perfect getaway in the middle of the Suffolk countryside. We would definitely return and cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Our stay was utterly blissful. The lodges are so calming and cozy. All the little, thoughtful details and care that have gone into making it a truly wonderful experience. The perfect place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary weekend together. Will be coming back again!

We stayed in one of Farmstead Lodge's two-bedroom lodges and WOW - what a wonderful stay. We went on one of the rainiest weeks but still had the most incredible time. The lodge was so perfect - cosy, beautifully decorated and has everything you'd need for self catered stay. The outside bath tub was amazing. Our dog was with us and enjoyed lying by the fire and running around outside (not fenced so take a long line with you). There are so many walks right on your doorstep too! We absolutely cannot wait to return - if you're thinking about booking this place, do it!

The most beautiful lodge in the countryside! I cannot recommend this place enough. The venue is well-maintained, the lodges have gorgeous furniture and interiors, everything is well-thought-out. You even get a fresh sourdough loaf and brownies on arrival! We also brought our dog, who loved the treats they left us. There are walks to the nearby town, and Farmstead provides many recommendations. It was the best escape to the country, and I recommend it to all my friends! Check their Instagram, as everything is exactly like the photos!

We couldn’t fault our stay, everything was beautiful and better than we ever expected. We came as a family but would also love to come with friends or as a couple it’s perfect for all. It’s the perfect balance or peaceful but close enough to some lovely surrounding villages if you want to venture out. It’s exactly what we all needed and we can’t wait to be back in the future.

The lodge was beautiful and peaceful, set by some great countryside walks which the dog absolutely loved. When we were assigned our lodge we were concerned it wasn’t what we booked, as all the advertisement is from lodge 5. So I feel like they should have more photos of each lodge and allow for lodge selection on booking. Also, there wasn’t a bbq. It was a fire pit which isn’t the same thing, no coal for a bbq either. However, it was a very pleasant stay with some nice touches.

Absolutely stunning setting with luxurious lodges, which have everything you need. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunset as by a stroke of luck we managed to time our visit with the 3 days of sunshine we've had this year. However, we did say it would be such a lovely and cosy place to visit in winter to make the most of the lovely log burner. Local walks, pubs and villages are lovely to explore and we enjoyed the half hour drive to the coast for a fish and chip supper on the beach. Thoroughly recommend for a relaxing weekend away.

If you’re after a bit of chill in the countryside, in a luxury cabin, then this is the one! Beauty entrance, stunning lodges, amazing gifts on arrival, idyllic scenery and peace and quiet helped us have a lovely one night stay to recharge. Wish it was longer, will be next time!

We used the lodges as a place to stay as my daughter was getting married at Easton Grange which is part of the facility. It was in an amazing position surrounded by glorious countryside. The lodges we incredible, well kitted out, clean, full of character and cozy. The outside space was ideal for children and dogs with the balcony being a relaxing space to sit and enjoy the views. I cannot recommend Farmstead lodges enough, amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had an amazing 4 nights at the farmstead , it’s even nicer than the pictures on the website, the beds and sofa are so comfortable and there is so much to do in the area. We will definitely be back during the summer , couldn’t fault it at all it’s beautiful!

Wow! What stunning large lodges in beautiful setting. Massive covered veranda to relax on, even in wet weather. Outdoor bath, wild flowers growing all around and birds singing, absolutely gorgeous. On arrival we received a gorgeous welcome pack of essentials, wine, lovely salted butter, large fresh sourdough loaf, fresh milk, some dog biscuits, lots of coffee pods for machine, log basket and lovely tasty chocolate brownies. Inside are very well equipped with everything you need for a week away. Large living, dining, kitchen. All very rustic and cosy with warm lighting, log burner. Bedroom is big with very comfy bed and en suite with massive walk in shower. These lodges have been very well thought out in their design both internally and externally, they are just exceptional. Dressing gown was little small for a man (who isn't that fat!😉) lodges are surrounded by wild flowers which we were just a little to early in the year to appreciate, but could see it would look glorious once in flower. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back.

We have just returned from the most perfect stay at Farmstead. The lodges are cosy and luxurious, in a peaceful setting. The outside bath was an amazing asset and we loved the welcome wine, bread and cakes! We can’t wait to come back again!

I stayed in one of Farmstead Lodge's two-bedroom lodges for a weekend in May, along with my dogs, and we had an incredible stay. The lodge itself was absolutely perfect – cosy and rustic yet incredibly spacious, with every modern amenity you could ask for. I particularly loved the soft furnishings (the bedding and blankets in particular!). We took our dog who had a lovely time, too. There are so many walks right on your doorstep, and the lodge itself was surrounded by shaded and sunny spots for my dog to relax in. It was the perfect retreat for both my family, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!

We had a lovely, peaceful few days staying at the farmstead! On arrival we found milk, butter and wine in the fridge, and a lovely fresh loaf of sourdough and brownies on the side! There were even biscuits for our dog. The lodges are beautifully decorated and everything is so well considered, from the cosy blankets provided so you can sit on the veranda in the mornings with a tea (which we did!), to the huge, comfy bed with quality linens. The bathtub in the bedroom was luxurious! The views all around are stunning and despite the cold and rainy weather we still enjoyed local walks with nice pubs nearby and looked forward to arriving back to our cosy, warm lodge and popping the log burner on every time. A very relaxing and peaceful stay - we hope to return in future!

We had the most wonderful stay at The Farmstead Lodges. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated, with lots of lovely home comforts and finishing touches and great attention to detail. The welcome pack was fabulous. Great to have the log burner also as the weather was not on our side most of the time. We enjoyed some great local walks with our dogs and also a delicious meal at the local pub. We’ll be back!

We had the best time, we loved the lodge and everything that came with it, just perfection!! We LOVED the welcome package, the little extras such as bubble bath and the tea/coffee. All these little extras really made our stay even more amazing. Thank you again, we will be back later in the year!

Absolutely loved the lodge itself. Very cozy and clean. 5 stars for the lodge and the support team. They were very responsive. However, there were noises like gunshots every few minutes during the day. The support team said it’s bird scarers from the fields nearby - understandable. I just wish I had known about this before we got there. My poor dog was very scared and anxious the whole time so 3 stars from her.

Farmstead Lodge is a beautiful escape into the wilderness, definitely my family’s ’happy’ place. The lodges are super comfy and cosy, whether it’s a balmy summers day and you’re sipping wine on the veranda looking out across the fields, or a tumultuous winters day and you are curled up in front of a roaring fire watching the clouds race across the sky. You will want for nothing, the lodges are fully kitted out. Easton is a quaint little place, brilliantly situated for trips to the coast. I whole heartedly recommend the Lodges, as does my 80 year father, and my 7 year old son! There’s something magical for everyone to enjoy!

Incredibly beautiful lodges, pure luxury with the right balance of the WOW factor and a sigh of relief at being in such a beautifully calm location. Beautifully built, tastefully decorated and such high level to detail, The Farmstead are the perfect stay for a special treat or a quick getaway. Super close to beautiful Aldeburgh. A fantastic stay at the Farmstead Lodges. The lodges are so well decorated, every little detail is thought of. The log fire was so cosy after a day of rain. And the outdoor bathtub was a real touch of luxury. Highly recommended for those who want a peaceful, relaxing staycation, with or without dogs.

A real home from home stay, the location and aesthetics were well thought out and generally had a lovely stay. I had some unfortunate unwelcome guests in the form of rats in the rafters of my bedroom/ bathroom which is reflected in my review. Rural location or not, for the price point I would have expected it to be handled better than it was.

I just wanted to express how amazing our stay at The Farmstead was last weekend - it was an idyllic girly getaway and we loved exploring parts of Suffolk but ultimately relaxing and “luxuriating” (as per the welcome pack) in the lodge really was the highlight! We made the most of the extra space and also all the bath tubs!! We loved all the welcome goodies - thank you! Twiggy my border terrier pup loved trying out the array of sheepskin rugs and it was so lovely that the lodge was doggy friendly but still felt luxurious and high quality. Thank you for making it so wonderful and we really hope to come back again!
